Why individual counselling?
Life can be overwhelming, especially when you're carrying responsibilities, supporting others, or questioning your direction. I offer one-to-one counselling in English and French for adults who want to:
Make sense of life transitions
Manage anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Navigate challenges in parenting or relationships
Explore identity, purpose, and next steps
Build self-awareness and resilience
Sessions are available in-person in Geneva or online via secure video call, depending on what works best for you. I work short-term or longer-term depending on your needs, and we'll take things at your pace.
I have a particular interest in working with parents, teachers, and expats due to my own lived experience. I also love to support young adults who are trying to work it all out, and older adults navigating the challenges of this stage of life.
What to expect
You might be feeling unsure about counselling, so let me explain what to expect.
Counselling offers a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind - whether it’s anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, or a vague sense that something just doesn’t feel right. It’s a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
I work integratively, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs and preferences. My role is to support you with curiosity, compassion, and care - helping you make sense of your story, recognise patterns, and discover ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
At the heart of my work is a humanistic philosophy: I see you as the expert in your own life and trust in your innate capacity to grow and heal. Depending on what feels most helpful for you, I may integrate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), all of which offer practical tools and deeper insights to support your emotional wellbeing.
You don’t need to know anything about these models before starting; our work together will be guided by your pace, your story, and what feels most helpful to you. The most important part is that you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we explore your path forward.
I offer a free 15 minute call to answer any questions you may have and help you decide whether counselling with me feels like a good fit.
